SUPERPHOS FOLIAR PHOSPHATE
SuperPhos -High-Availability Phosphate & Potassium Fertiliser
SuperPhos Foliar Phosphate Use:
SuperPhos is used on arable and field vegetable crops as a high-availability source of phosphate and potassium, applied either as a foliar spray or at planting close to the seed to support early growth, rooting and crop development
Key benefit:
Supports early crop growth, rooting and phosphate availability when demand is high.
SuperPhos is a highly concentrated foliar phosphate fertiliser developed to provide readily available phosphate and potassium. It is designed to support nutrient uptake from the earliest stages of crop growth and can be used where soil phosphate availability may be limited by dry soils, cold conditions or other unfavourable growing conditions.
Benefits:
- Between 5 and 20 times more efficient than soil-applied phosphate
- Provides a high-availability source of phosphate and potassium.
- Supports early rooting, establishment and crop development.
- Can be applied as a foliar spray or at planting close to the seed.
- Helps make phosphate nutrition less dependent on unfavourable weather conditions.
- Allows precise timing during periods of high crop demand.
- Particularly useful when dry soils may restrict nutrient uptake.
- Provides additional sulphur and zinc for balanced foliar nutrition.
Where and when to use:
SuperPhos can be used on all arable and field vegetable crops where phosphate, potassium, sulphur or zinc support is required. It is particularly useful from the 3-leaf stage onwards, once there is enough leaf area to absorb the spray.
Use SuperPhos during early crop development, rapid growth, periods of high phosphate demand, or where soil conditions may restrict nutrient availability. Applications should be made in the early morning or late evening to maximise uptake.
Crops:
All arable and field vegetable crops.
Pack Size:
10l, 200l, 600l & 1000l
Technical Information – SuperPhos
SuperPhos is formulated using acidifying and complexing technology with water-soluble anionic polyelectrolyte polymers derived from natural sources. This helps support easy mixing, enhanced compatibility and efficient nutrient uptake
Please consult with your technician or agronomist regarding tank mixing and any specifc rates.
| Analysis | w/v % | g/L |
| Phosphorus (as P205) | 25.97 | 259.7 |
| Potassium (as K2O) | 5.57 | 55.7 |
| Sulphur (as SO3 ) | 0.69 | 6.9 |
| Zinc (Zn) | 0.56 | 5.6 |
Additional label information:
pH: 1.2
Density: 1.24 kg/L
Storage temperature: 3.0°C to 21.0°C
Application – SuperPhos
Application guidance:
Apply as a foliar spray once there is sufficient leaf area to absorb the spray, normally from the 3-leaf stage onwards. SuperPhos may also be applied at planting in close proximity to the planted seed.
Tank mixing:
Please consult your technician or agronomist regarding tank mixing and specific rates. The label also states that SuperPhos may not be compatible with some products and that equipment should be thoroughly cleaned before and after use.
Best practice:
Apply in the early morning or late evening when plant uptake will be maximised. Use stainless steel or polymer-based equipment, as the product is corrosive to metals.
Storage:
Store at a minimum of 3.0°C. Keep the container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place, away from heat sources, food and feedstuffs.
| Crop | Timing | Rate |
| All arable and field vegetable crops | Timings are dependent on crop, residual nitrogen and targets. | 3.5 – 7.5 L/ha in 80-200 L water/ha |
