OPTIMAG FOLIAR MAGNESIUM
OptiMag – High-Efficiency Magnesium & Nitrogen Foliar Fertiliser
OptiMag Foliar Magnesium Use:
OptiMag is used on arable and field vegetable crops from the 3-leaf stage until 4 weeks before harvest, providing a high-efficiency foliar source of magnesium and nitrogen to support crop growth, nutrient uptake and performance during periods of high magnesium demand.
Key Benefit:
Supports magnesium nutrition, crop growth and nutrient uptake during periods of high demand.
OptiMag is a high-efficiency, highly concentrated foliar magnesium fertiliser designed to supplement soil-applied inputs. It contains magnesium and nitrogen complexed with humic and organic acids, plus adjuvants, to support tank-mix compatibility, uptake and translocation within the plant
Benefits:
- Provides a highly concentrated foliar source of magnesium.
- Helps supplement soil-applied magnesium nutrition.
- Makes magnesium fertilisation less dependent on unfavourable weather conditions.
- Allows even application and precise timing during periods of high crop demand.
- Particularly useful when dry soils may restrict nutrient uptake.
- Contains nitrogen to support crop growth alongside magnesium nutrition.
- Formulated with humic and organic acids and adjuvants to support nutrient uptake and movement within the plant
When and where to use:
OptiMag can be used in cereals, maize, oilseed rape, potatoes, brassicas, legumes, vegetables and root crops from the 3-leaf stage of the crop until 4 weeks before harvest. It is best used when crops require additional magnesium, during periods of rapid growth, or where soil conditions may limit uptake. Application rates should be matched to crop biomass and the severity of deficiency symptoms.
Applications should be made in the early morning or late evening, when uptake by the plant will be maximised
Crops:
All arable & field vegetable crops.
Pack Size:
10L, 1000L (IBC) .
Technical Information – OptiMag
OptiMag is a unique formulated blend of Magnesium and Nitrogen complexed with humic and organic acids and adjuvants for improved tank mixing compatibility, uptake and translocation of the nutrient within the plant.
| Analysis | w/v % | g/L |

| Magnesium (MgO) | 16.6 | 166.0 |
Application – OptiMag
For use in all cereal crops, maize, oilseed rape, potatoes, brassicas, legume, vegetable and root crops, from the 3 leaf stage of the crop until 4 weeks before harvest. Dosage should be appropriate to the level of deficiency symptoms and crop biomass.
Applications should be made in the early morning or late evening when the uptake by the plant will be maximised.
Half fill the spray tank with water, begin agitation and add the required quantity of OptiMag* to the tank. Rinse container thoroughly and then add the rinsings to the sprayer. Once mixed, continue agitation until spraying is complete and spray without delay. It is not advised to leave products in the tank for long periods of time.
*Mix into the tank last when used alongside pesticides.
