Emerald Research Ltd (ERL) is excited to announce that we will be showcasing the complete OptiYield system, along with results from our nutritional trials within the Transformative Reduced Input Potatoes (TRIP) project at the British Potato Event 2025 in Harrogate on 19th & 20th November.
The OptiYield System is a step-by-step approach to crop nutrition that begins with comprehensive soil analysis and builds a tailored programme designed to maximise nutrient efficiency and crop performance using the OptiYield range of foliar and bioactive products.
Our nutritional trials, conducted over the three contrasting seasons of the TRIP project, have explored reductions in nitrogen, phosphate and potash inputs of 50% while maintaining yields and quality equal to or better than conventional programmes. Along with demonstrating the Nutrient Use Efficiency (NUE) of the OptiYield system over conventional programmes, the project demonstrates the potential for a more sustainable and profitable future in potato production.
Simon Fox MD ERL, Chris Dustow MD Colwith Farms and Katherine Steele – Reader in Sustainable Crop Production, Bangor University will present an overview of the trial results including the blight resistant breeding programme at the event at 10am on Thursday 20th November.
Join us at Stand 160 to discover how the OptiYield System can help you optimise nutrition efficiency, reduce inputs and maintain top performance in your potato crops. Our team will be on hand to discuss the latest TRIP project results, demonstrate the step-by-step OptiYield approach and show how data-driven nutrition can transform your growing strategy.
