Emerald Research Ltd (ERL) will be exhibiting at CropTec 24 taking place on the 27th and 28th November at the NAEC, Stoneleigh.  Taking centre stage will be this season’s results from the Innovate UK-funded Transformative Reduced Inputs in Potatoes (TRIP) project, where ERL is partnering with Dyson Farming Research, Light Science Technologies , Bangor University, The James Hutton Institute.

Central to the project is the revolutionary OptiYield soil analysis and crop nutrient recommendation system, which has been used to prescribe the fertiliser, foliar nutrient and biostimulant regimes used in the trials.

The second season of trials has continued to assess not only the effect of switching from 100% soil applied nitrogen and phosphate to majority foliar applied, but also the results of decreasing overall nitrogen and phosphate volumes by up to 50% compared to conventional recommendations when supported by ERL’s proprietary biostimulants.

The results have provided a clear insight into the cumulative benefits of ‘stacking’ biostimulants and taking a more preventative and holistic approach to improving crop performance and efficiency, as opposed to a product-by-product treatment regime.

Come along to Stand 2.636 and discuss how you can join our happy customers in using  the OptiYield system of soil analysis and crop nutrition recommendations so you too can be the ‘front foot’ in terms of crop nutrition ready for the 2025 planting season.
