Technical Information – Activator
Activator is based on natural organic acid chelating agents and organic complexes. These compounds provide a highly effective delivery mechanism for nutrients to growing points in crops, while also acting as biostimulants that support crop vigour independently of nutrient demand.
Activator is designed for use with OptiYield foliar nutrition products and should be added to the spray tank last to help ensure the water is suitably conditioned for maximum spraying efficiency.

Application – Activator
General application guidance
- Half-fill the sprayer with water.
- Start agitation.
- Add all other spray mix partners first, including foliar nutrition products.
- Add Activator to the spray tank last.
- Slowly add the required quantity of Activator to moving water.
- Top up the spray tank with the rest of the water.
- Mix well before spraying.
- Do not allow the mixture to stand idle for any length of time.
- Apply only as part of a recognised nutrient recommendation programme.
- Do not exceed the appropriate application rates.
- Wash hands before meals and after work.
- Safely dispose of empty containers.
Recommended rate
Apply 0.5 L/ha with compatible OptiYield foliar nutrition products, following crop-specific nutrient advice.
