Trial Farm 4 - Carrots var. Nairobi
A comparison between OptiYield treated and Farm Standard portions of a maturing crop of carrots
(var. Nairobi) conducted on 28th September 2016.
A 1 m2 sample of each was lifted from adjacent treated/untreated beds in an otherwise uniformly
treated crop and soil. Results are reflective of yields from final commercial lifting.

Rooting Observations
As with previous trials it was noted that crops treated with OptiYield produced significantly greater numbers of roots, especially fine to very fine root hairs.
In the lifted carrots roots it was noticeable that the OptiYield treated carrots retained significantly more root hairs (before washing) and that the lifting process left the treated beds with large quantities of roots stripped off during the lifting process relative to the “standard” beds.
